And He Shall Purify - No. 7

What a wonderful example of Baroque polyphony.  This chorus is a bit challenging to master, with parts entering and exiting on all counts, but what a beautiful result.  Once mastered, it is lots of fun to sing!

In this chorus, words taken from the prophet Malachi, we proclaim that Christ will be a "refiner's fire," purifying unto him a people who will then be able to offer unto him righteousness, much preferred over the blood of a goat or ram!
